DeviceScan — Privacy Policy

DeviceScan ("the App", operated by Sellwise) helps Shopify merchants check how their online store renders across devices. This policy explains what data the App handles.

Data we access

When you install the App, we receive your store domain and an access token with the permissions you approve (read_products, read_themes). We use the read_products scope only to automatically locate a product and collection page to scan. We do not access, store, or process any customer personal data (names, addresses, orders, or payment information).

Data we store

• Your store domain and the plan you are subscribed to.
• Screenshots of your own storefront pages that you choose to scan, and the analysis of them (layout issues, load errors).
• For automatic monitoring: the store URL, the email address you provide for reports, and the scan schedule.

Screenshots are of publicly accessible storefront pages only. We store an optional storefront password you enter solely in memory for the duration of a scan; it is never written to disk or logs.

How we use it

Data is used only to provide the scanning and monitoring features and to send you the reports you request. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Data retention & deletion

When you uninstall the App, we automatically delete your store record and access token. You can request deletion of your scan history at any time by contacting us.
